Crawfish Boil 2013

I can't believe I'm just now posting the crawfish boil pictures from May...man I'm behind.

Lake Conroe

I forgot these pictures when I did my Summer Wrap up post.

In August, we took a trip down to the Woodlands to visit DD. JJ, Barrett and Madison were in town so we met up with them and spent the day at JJ's parent's beautiful house on Lake Conroe.

It was such a fun day!!

They had a wave runner

and a fun tube we got to ride on.

Carson was in heaven!!

We had a yummy lunch.

And spent lots of time in the pool!

First Day of school 2013

Carson and Avery are in "older preschool" this year. That means a new hall with new teachers and no naps (at school that is).

We also made the decision to separate them into different classes this year. It made me a little sad, but it definitely has been good for them.

Carson is in Ms. Bass' class.

And Avery's in Mrs. Ricken's class.

They both had some friends in their classes this year. So hopefully they won't be missing each other too much.

Summer wrap up 2013

I am finally finding some time to catch up!

We had a fun summer this year.

I've never been a huge fan of summer, but this year was actually pretty fun!

I think partly because I wasn't pregnant, nauseous and tired like I was last year. And partly because I made the very wise decision to sign my kids up for the "summer camps" they offered at our church. It was Tues/Wed/Thurs from 9-2 for 6 weeks of the summer. Each week was a different theme and the kids loved it! And so did mommy!! One week they did a "busy bee music camp." They learned songs during the week then did a performance for the parents on Thursday. It was really cute!
