Thanksgiving 2013!

We spent Thanksgiving at my parent's house this year with my family (DD even came up to join us) and the Miller family. My mom and Christy did and awesome job on the table decorations. So pretty!

Getting the turkeys ready to fry.

I love that the kid table grows every year!

Yum! Turkey!!
The hat didn't last long.
Little turkey!

Love these kiddos!

And, Cade was done with the picture taking.
He wasn't loving the cousin picture either!
Carson had fun throwing leaves in the air.
And Cade enjoyed eating them.
So many things to be thankful for this year!

Thanksgiving Parade

Carson and Avery got to have their first Thanksgiving parade and feast at school.
Carson got to hold the sign in his class.
They walked down the hall in a parade for all the parents.
Avery's class
Then they had a feast on picnic blankets in the atrium.
Saying their prayers.

Carson's class was a bear theme. Carson was "Bear Claw Carson"
Avery's class was deer themed. She was "Speedy Deer." Her teacher said because she is alway very "speedy" at everything she does in class. Ha!

So thankful for these two!!

Halloween 2013!

The kids had a lot of fun this year in the couple of weeks leading up to Halloween. They got to dress up for Trunk or Treating at our church.
They got their faces painted.
And played some fun games.
And got to hang out with their friends.
How cute are these sweet babies? Love that little pumpkin and lemur!
These two will protect us for sure!
The day before Halloween the kids got to dress up for story time at the library. Avery decided to switch from Rapunzel to Tinker Bell for the day.
Halloween night, we started out with some trick or treating in our neighborhood.

We have the best neighbors!
Then headed over to Nonna's house to trick or treat with Kenny, Tay, and Berkley!
I love this picture of Avery because it really shows her love of babies (especially toddlers), she really loves that 12-18 month age. So sweet!
And I love this one of Carson, silly boy!
Sweet cousins
This little pumpkin was exhausted and passed out during trick or treating.
Check out those blue lips...yum, candy!!

Cade's Baby Dedication

We had Cade's baby dedication on 9/29 at our church.
DD, Mimi, Papa, Uncle Ryan, Aunt TT, Kennedy and Taylor were all able to come.
Carson and Avery even got a shout out from pastor Gary, wishing them a happy 4th birthday.
Cade was such a good boy while Pastor Gary held him and prayed over him.
This is such a special time for our family, as we pledge to raise Cade to know and love the Lord. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him," Romans 15:13. This is my prayer for you my sweet Cade, that you will grow to know and trust the Lord and that He will fill you with joy, hope, and peace as you grow.

Storybook Parade

This was the first year Carson and Avery got to participate in the storybook parade at school. They each got to dress up like a character from a book. Avery was a pink fairy princess from the book, "The Very Fairy Princess" and Carson was a firefighter and took, "Curious George Visits the Fire House"

They got to carry their books in a parade through the church for all the parents to watch

Then stood with their classes and sang a few songs.
