Wow, how they've grown!!

At one year Carson and Avery:

-are walking everywhere. They now prefer walking to crawling.

-have started to climb more. Carson can climb onto the ottoman and the couch if there is anything on the floor to stand on. Which scares his mommy.

-are drinking whole milk, which they love. But still using the bottle. They still aren't that great at the sippy cup, so I give them a couple of bottles a day. We're working on weaning though.

-are both really attached to their blankets. Avery's is her silk lovey and Carson's is his green knit blanket. They want to carry them everywhere.

-are saying more words and sounds. Avery says, "uh, uh, uh" (which means uh-oh) anytime she drops something or falls. She can tell you what a duck and a monkey say. Carson can tell you what a lion says. They both say puppy, mama, dada, mimi, papa, baba. And they're trying to imitate noises and facial expressions more now. Avery was trying to blow her nose on her hand after watching my dad blow his nose.

-are still really good eaters. They will eat anything really.

-and they of course are still the sweetest, busiest, cutest babies I know!!
